    Private Contract Enforcement In The Developing World : The Story Of The Biotech tropicana Debt Collection Process

    On December 1, 2010, the founders of the Biotech tropicana Systems ordered of all bad debt files to the judiciary systems for adjudication. [REF 1] Here, we discuss the development phases of the process with particular emphasize on procedural patterns specific to the resource-poor settings.

    We design the description scheme so as to be updated as needed as the cases evolved. a) By the whole decision N° 401/11 dated Januray 18, 2011, the Cotonou office of the Benin National Police, the Biotech tropicana Systems won the first case. The benin police awarded the whole $ 200USD or the equivalent of Benin CFA 100.000 sought by the Biotech tropicana Systems. The World Bank previously identified Bnin Republic as one of the wost place on the planet to enforce a private contract. The United States Millennium Challenge Corporation (US MCC) provided funding to improve the efficiency of private contarct enforcement through the judiciary system, in Benin, in the Benin Millennium Challenge Compact Accesss to Justice program [REF 2]. In this case, the Biotech tropicana Systems demonstrated the feasbility of private contract enforcement through the judiciray systems, in Benin.
    This is the first private contract enforcement case won by the Biotech tropicana Systems , through the judiciary system in Benin.
     
    The founders assigned this historic victory, a historic mission in the development of the Biotech tropicana Systems. The money will be used to fund the incorporation process of Biotech tropicana Corporation, now ready to graduate from incubation to the competitive corporate world.
     
    Police order to appear and the key evidence in the contract files that resolved the issue are archived in the Biotech tropicana Museum [REF 2].
